What we do
No job too big to plan properly, none too small to bother with. Everything is quoted up front and left clean.
Fit-out
Supply-your-own or let us source it: units, worktops, sinks, splashbacks and appliances, fitted properly.
Fit-out
Complete refits — showers, baths, wall-hung WCs, vanity units, wet-wall panelling and heated towel rails.
Finish
Walls and floors: metro, large-format, herringbone and feature splashbacks, laid straight with clean grout lines.

Interior and exterior painting: rooms, woodwork, cornicing and period features — and front doors brought back to life.
Joinery
Door hanging, restoration and repainting, skirtings, panelling, shelving and built-in storage.

Leaky taps, flat-pack, sealant, holes in walls — the growing list you never get round to. Sorted in a visit.

Stripped, filled, sanded, primed and finished in a colour chosen with the owner — with the stonework and brass furniture left better than we found them.

About Handi-Work
Handi-Work is run by Marks Lekwati, a time-served tradesman based in Leith with hands-on experience across Edinburgh's tenements, terraces and new builds. Most of our work comes from repeat customers and their recommendations — which is exactly how we like it.
Because one person sees the job through from strip-out to snag list, nothing gets lost between trades: the tiling lines up with the joinery, the paint goes on after the dust is gone, and you always know who to call.
